COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses, while also realigning applicable skills with the course standards.

Prerequisites:

-Possess a current basic-level American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent

-Be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course

-Successfully completed the online Introduction to the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course

-Successfully completes the in-class pre-course skill session

-Has obtained all instructor and participant materials before attending the first session of the instructor course

Thursday, February 11th: Virtual Training on Zoom (via Video Conference) from 9:00am – 5:00pm

Friday, February 12th: In-Person Training from 9:00am – 5:00pm
